SUPA Teams is seeking passionate MSW interns to support our mission of empowering and equipping families of children with autism through advocacy, education, and community support.
MSW interns will help facilitate and enhance our parent support groups, offering families a safe, compassionate space to share experiences, build community, and receive guidance. Interns will gain experience in group facilitation, resource-sharing, case management skills, and culturally responsive family engagement—essential competencies for emerging social workers.
Interns will participate in research initiatives to identify the evolving needs of parents and caregivers of autistic children. Their work will contribute to the development of evidence-based resources, toolkits, and reference guides that empower families with practical strategies and information. This partnership allows universities to actively support community-engaged research that benefits real families in real time.
SUPA Teams uses storytelling, education, and advocacy to elevate awareness of the unique challenges faced by families of autistic children. Interns will support our outreach efforts through social media campaigns, newsletters, and participation in our annual awareness event. Students will gain experience in community organizing, digital communication, and public advocacy—all within a mission-driven environment.
SUPA Teams offers hands-on experience in autism advocacy, family support, and nonprofit work—perfect for students, professionals, and community members who want to grow their skills while serving with purpose.
Volunteering with SUPA Teams allows you to directly support parents and caregivers of autistic children. Your time and compassion help families feel seen, supported, and empowered as they navigate complex systems and daily challenges. Every contribution—big or small—creates real impact.
Volunteers develop hands-on skills in community outreach, event support, and assisting with parent-focused initiatives. Whether you're a student, professional, or community member, SUPA Teams offers opportunities to learn, grow, and expand your understanding of advocacy and neurodiversity.
When you volunteer with SUPA Teams, you become part of a supportive network committed to uplifting families and raising awareness about autism. You’ll connect with passionate individuals, participate in meaningful projects, and help strengthen a movement centered on love, inclusion, and empowerment.
