SUPA Teams is proud to participate in the Newark YMCA’s Adopt-A-Room Initiative, a community effort dedicated to creating welcoming, restorative spaces for children and families. 

Through this initiative, SUPA Teams will adopt and renovate a room by providing fresh paint, new bedding, and sensory-friendly toys designed to foster comfort, calmness, and inclusion for children of all abilities.

This special space will be dedicated on June 14, 2026, in loving memory of Pattie Barnes Austin, whose legacy of compassion, care, and service continues to inspire our mission.

 The room will be a space where children feel safe, supported, and valued — reflecting our dedication to uplifting families and creating environments where every child can thrive.

Through partnerships like this, SUPA Teams continues to transform compassion into action, building stronger communities while honoring those whose lives have created a lasting impact.

SUPA Teams proudly hosts our Diapers & Wipes Drive, a community outreach effort dedicated to supporting families of young children by helping meet one of their most essential daily needs. Thanks to the generosity of donors, partners, and community members, we collect diapers and wipes that are distributed to families served by the Bierman Autism Center and the Newark YMCA.

This initiative reflects our dedication to supporting parents and caregivers by reducing financial stress and offering practical help that truly impacts daily life. Every donation demonstrates compassion in action — helping families feel seen, supported, and empowered within their community.
