Internship Opportunities

SUPA Teams is seeking passionate MSW interns to support our mission of empowering and equipping families of children with autism through advocacy, education, and community support.

Parental Support Groups

MSW interns will help facilitate and enhance our parent support groups, offering families a safe, compassionate space to share experiences, build community, and receive guidance. Interns will gain experience in group facilitation, resource-sharing, case management skills, and culturally responsive family engagement—essential competencies for emerging social workers.

Research & Resource Development

Interns will participate in research initiatives to identify the evolving needs of parents and caregivers of autistic children. Their work will contribute to the development of evidence-based resources, toolkits, and reference guides that empower families with practical strategies and information. This partnership allows universities to actively support community-engaged research that benefits real families in real time.

Awareness & Community Engagement

SUPA Teams uses storytelling, education, and advocacy to elevate awareness of the unique challenges faced by families of autistic children. Interns will support our outreach efforts through social media campaigns, newsletters, and participation in our annual awareness event. Students will gain experience in community organizing, digital communication, and public advocacy—all within a mission-driven environment.
